Apple TV+ Renews Invasion for Season 3

On Tuesday, Apple TV+ announced a season three renewal for “Invasion,” its sweeping, character-driven, global hit science fiction drama series from Academy Award-nominated and two-time Emmy Award-nominated producer Simon Kinberg (“X-Men” films, “Deadpool” films, “The Martian”) and David Weil (“Hunters”). The third season of “Invasion” is set to go into production later this month.

Following the debut of season two, “Invasion” has been lauded for “upping the ante” with each season and offering a “mélange of intrigue, character development and slow-burn pacing” as well as expert cinematography that “captures the beauty and eeriness” of an alien invasion. The first and second seasons of “Invasion” are now streaming globally on Apple TV+.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to do with our first two seasons of the show with our partners at Apple TV+ and our cast and crew,” said creator and executive producer Simon Kinberg, in a statement. “This new season will continue to build on the scale, stakes and propulsion of the ‘Invasion,’ while keeping our characters front and center, bringing them together in ways that will hopefully surprise and most importantly move our audience, who have been so incredibly supportive and inspiring since day one.”

“Invasion” follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. The acclaimed, action-packed series stars Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Billy Barratt, Azhy Robertson, Paddy Holland and Tara Moayedi. Season two also starred newly added series regulars Enver Gjokaj, Nedra Marie Taylor and Naian González Norvind.

Produced for Apple TV+ by Boat Rocker, “Invasion” is created by Kinberg and Weil, who also serve as executive producers alongside Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Andrew Baldwin, Dan Dietz and Katie O’Connell Marsh. Nick Nantell serves as executive producer for Boat Rocker.

How to Pair an Apple TV Remote

The Apple TV comes with a remote that should already be paired. But incase it isn't or you have to replace the remote for one reason or another, here's how.

  1. Plug in the remote to an USB or an USB-C charging wire.
  2. Make sure the Apple TV is tuned on.
  3. Point your remote at your Apple TV.
  4. Make sure that the remote is about three inches away from the Apple TV.
  5. Press and hold Back (or Menu) and Volume Up. for five seconds.
  6. If asked, place your remote on top of Apple TV to complete pairing.
  7. That's it.

You shouldn't have to re-pair the remote after the above steps. But if you do, just do the above again.

VisionOS 1.0.3 lets users change their passcode

VisionOS 1.0.3 will let end users change their Passcode without the need to go to a local Apple Store to get it changed.

According to AppleInsider:

Apple's third update for the Apple Vision Pro operating system, visionOS 1.0.3 makes a change to the way it handles passcodes, to avoid users taking a trip to the Apple Store.

Released on Monday, visionOS 1.0.3 is the first official update to the operating system since the release of the Apple Vision Pro itself. The update brings with it an important change concerning passcodes.

Before the update, Apple Vision Pro owners discovered that they couldn't recover their headset if they somehow forgot their passcode. Affected users had to either send the headset off to Apple or pay a visit to an Apple Store for a reset, due to a lack of a mechanism to do it themselves.

Spotted initially in the visionOS 1.1 developer beta, the change has made its way earlier than thought, in version 1.0.3. The handling of passcodes is similar to that of the Apple Watch, in that users can erase all their data from the Apple Vision Pro to rest the passcode.
