Having problems with your Amazon FireTV and YouTube? Try this!
Amazon's Fire TV usually works most of the time. But sometimes, you may run into a problem where YouTube TV may not be able to show a selected channel when first going into the app. This can happen for various reasons.
If you've experiencing such a problem, then perhaps it's time to reset the Fire Stick. Doing so may re-establish a connection with your wired or wireless network and clear out any problems that may have come up.
Here's how:
- Make sure you're at the Fire Stick main menu.
- Go into Settings.
- Find and go into My Fire TV.
- Scroll down and select the Restart option.
- Verify that you wish to restart the Fire TV Stick.
- The Fire Stick will restart.
- Now try the service again. It should work as before.
- That's it.
That didn't help? Try this:
- When in YouTubeTV, select another channel to watch.
- If that channel appears, then select the previous channel.
- You should be able to watch it as before.
- That's it.
Still no go? Try this:
- Check your network's router.
- Try logging into a website from another computer.
- If that works, try the Here's how section again.
- Call Amazon for support.
