  2. Select the Account Menu.
  3. Log-in with the same Apple ID and password that you used when you purchased the music with.
  4. From the Account menu, select the Authorizations option.
  5. Here's where you can authorize or deauthorize that computer.
  6. Select the option you wish.
  7. That's it.

Remember, a user can only authorize 5 computers per account.

How to Format a USB Drive on a Mac

We use USB Drives for various things - backups, documents, saving images, etc.  But in order to use it, you must first prep it to be used with an operating system.  Prepping the drive is fast and easy when you know how to do it properly.

How to Format a USB Drive on Mac:

  1. Connect the USB drive to an available USB Port on the Mac.
  2. Open Disk Utility (Finder > Accessories > Utilities > Disk Utility).
  3. On the left side, select the USB drive you want to Format.
  4. Select Erase (upper-right of the window).
  5. Give the drive a name (such as Backup or Data).
  6. As the file system type, choose “MacOS Extended (Journaled)”.
  7. Click the Erase button.
  8. Let Disk Utility do its thing.  It may be quick or take time depending on its size.
  9. When finished, remove the USB drive OR go ahead and write to the drive.
  10. That's it.

Bonus Tip:

When removing a USB drive, always drag its desktop icon to the trash before removing it from the computer. This ensures the data will be on the drive when you put it in again.

How to get a good iPad Pro setup without breaking the bank

No matter what the media or YouTube says, the iPad Pro is a good computer alternative for people on the go, or to get into Apple's ecosystem without having to purchase a Mac. But the accessories from Apple can be a little steep, especially if one needs an external keyboard to do a lot of writing or other keyboard related stuff.

This article will assist in getting what you may need for that awesome iPad Pro setup without breaking the bank, and to go easier on that credit card's interest rate.

Coming from a writer's point of view, let me list some of the typical add-ons one may need for a great set-up.

    1. An iPad Pro (512 storage minimum).
    2. Bluetooth Keyboard.
    3. Bluetooth Speakers.

Now that we have that down, lets compare the different price range between Apple and Amazon since the latter is the easiest to compare.

Apple:

  • iPad Pro (512 Storage)....$1,099.00
  • Magic Keyboard Folio......$349.00
  • Magic Keyboard..............$349.00
  • External Speakers...........$99.00 (HomePod mini)

Amazon.com:

The recommended hardware for Amazon.com was chosen as the most affordable hardware for an iPad Pro. Of course, you have to pick the correct hardware for your specific needs.

In closing, this guide should get you started in your journey in getting the most bang for your buck when it comes to an iPad Pro.  Thanks for reading and feel free to comment below.

Steaming Service Peacock clears 20M Subscribers

Streaming service Peacock closed 2022 with more than 20 million paid subscribers, helping Comcast slip past Wall Street estimates during a challenging fourth quarter in the media business.

Total revenue came in at $30.55 billion in the period, less than 1% ahead of the prior-year quarter but just above analysts’ consensus. Earnings per share of 70 cents fell short of estimates, but exceeded them on an adjusted basis.

Along with Peacock, which added 5 million subscribers during the quarter, a strong return for theme parks helped NBCUniversal post a revenue increase of 6% to $9.9 billion. Advertising revenue rose 4%, which the company credited to Spanish-language coverage of the World Cup by Telemundo and an upswing in Peacock ad revenue. After launching in mid-2020, Peacock struggled to gain traction in the early going, hurt more than most new streaming players by Covid’s impact on live sports and original production. A strategic shift has also brought paid subscriptions center stage, a turn from the focus at launch on the free, ad-supported tier.
