Disney-owned TV Networks go dark on Sling TV and DISH

Here we go again, folks. For those of you who notice when you turned on your DISH or Sling TV and you did not see Disney owned networks such as ABC, ESPN and others, the services are in a carrier dispute with Disney.

DISH, Sling TV, and Disney are pointing the finger at each other. DISH is claiming that Disney wants one billion more in revenue from both services in order to carrier the company's content. DISH offered Disney an extension, but Disney then rejected the proposal and walked away from the negotiating table.

DISH offered a statement on their web site which states:

"We were not able to reach a mutual renewal agreement with Disney and without a contract in place we are legally required to remove their channels from our service,"

How to use Siri to Hang Up the current FaceTime or voice call

You may not know this, but you can use Siri to hang up on a current call.

Here's how to set it up:

Open the “Settings” app
Go to “Siri & Search”
Toggle the switch for “Call Hang Up” to the ON position

With that enabled, Siri will now listen for the words "Hey Siri, Hang Up." during a FaceTime or Voice call.

Apple TV+ sets premiere dates for ‘Slow Horses,’ ‘Mythic Quest,’ and more

Via Twitter, Apple TV+ has announced some big release dates for its fall lineup, including many critically acclaimed series that are returning for their new seasons.

The following Apple TV+ series have these official premiere dates:

• Mythic Quest: Season Three, Nov. 11
• The Mosquito Coast: Season 2, Nov. 4
• Slow Horses: Season 2, Dec. 2
• Little America: Season 2, Dec. 9

As for today, specifically, airing on Apple TV+:

• Greatest Beer Run Ever: Premiere
• Wolfboy: S2 Premiere, All Episodes
• Get Rolling With Otis: S2 Premiere, All Episodes
• SEE: S3 (final season), Ep 6
• BadSisters: S1, Ep 8

Apple removes Dark Sky Weather App ahead of official shutdown

Apple acquired DarkSky in March of 2020. Since that time, the company has slowly began to shut down the company itself, and intergraded it into its own computer systems, thus bringing us more detailed weather information in its own weather app for iOS and now Apple Weather.

Now, the company has removed the Dark Sky weather app from the App Store, signaling that the conversion has been completed.
