How to show your iPad’s screen on a TV using Apple TV and Airplay

Airplay is a unique way to show your iPad's screen on a television or other comparable devices. It's simple to setup and use.

In order for this to work, you'll have to have the following:

An iPad with iOS 13 or later.
Apple TV, Google Chrome, Roku, or another compatible device.

You must have the TV and the compatible device on. For this how to, we'll be using an Apple TV. But the directions should be almost the same for other devices.

Here's what to do:

Make sure your iPad, Apple TV, and TV are ON.
Make sure the Apple TV menu is showing on your TV.
Activate the iPad and go to the Home Screen.
Pull down Command Center from the top-right of the screen.
Look for the button that says "Screen Mirroring" or the AirPlay icon (see featured image included with this article).
Tap it.
If this is the first time you're doing this, an special 4 digit code will show on the TV.
Type the code into your iPad when asked.
After a few seconds, your iPad's screen should be showing on your TV.
If not, shut everything off, wait 30 seconds, then repeat the above steps.

To disable Airplay and go back to normal Apple TV viewing, do steps #4 and #5.

Apple TV+ signs Anders Holm in live-action ‘Godzilla and the Titans’ series

Anders Holm has signed on for a major recurring role in Apple TV+s upcoming live-action Godzilla and the Titans series based on Legendary’s Monsterverse franchise, from Legendary Television.

Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking new reality that monsters are real, the untitled Monsterverse series will explore one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch.

Holm’s role, like the others, is being kept under wraps. He joins previously announced cast Anna Sawai (Pachinko), Ren Watabe (461 Days of Bento), Kiersey Clemons (Hearts Beat Loud), Joe Tippett (Mare of Easttown) and Elisa Lasowski.

Matthew Shakman will direct the first two episodes and serve as executive producer on the series, which is produced for Apple TV+ by Legendary Television and executive produced by co-creators Chris Black, who serves as showrunner, and Matt Fraction.

FaceBook warns 1 Million users about stolen usernames AND passwords

FACEBOOK USERS - CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD NOW! FaceBook's parent company, Meta, has discovered a security breech that has effected one million of its users.

Via Bloomberg News:

The company announced Friday that it identified more than 400 malicious Android and iOS apps this year that target internet users in order to steal their login information. Meta said it informed both Apple and Google about the issue in order to facilitate removal of the apps.

The apps worked by disguising themselves as photo editors, mobile games or health trackers, Facebook said.

Apple said 45 of the 400 problematic apps were on its App Store and have been removed. Google removed all [355 of] the malicious apps in question, a spokesperson said.
