How to Sync Desktop and Documents Folder to iCloud on Mac

It's extremely important for any Mac, iPhone, or iPad user that they have access to their files anywhere and at anytime. Especially when it comes to their Documents which are usually stored in the Documents Folder.

With iCloud, this is very easy to do and here's how to do it:

  1. Go to     > System Preferences.
  2. Click on either Your Name, or the Apple ID icon on the upper-right of that window.
  3. Scroll down until you see the iCloud option.  
  4. Click it to select it.
  5. Sign in to iCloud if prompted.
  6. Put a Check Mark next to the iCloud option
  7. Now click the [Options] button. 
  8. In this area, place a checkmark next to the Desktop & Documents Folder.
  9. Click [DONE] when finished. 
  10. That's it. 

After the iMac and iCloud sync all files, it will automatically save any changes to any files that you may create, edit, and/or save from your Mac, into iCloud, and then you can have access to those files on other connected machines.

How to Exit Recovery Mode on a Mac

Although rarely, persons use Mac's Recovery Mode for troubleshooting problems, or to reinstall the operating system incase of problems.

Incase you're ever find yourself in it, here's how to exit from it and boot back into MacOS:

  1. Click the Apple Logo in the upper-left of the screen.
  2. Choose "Restart"
  3. That's it.

If for some reason that doesn't work, then you can use the power button to turn it off and then on again.

HBO Max and Discovery + ARE Merging into one – what you need to know, NOW

HBO Max, the home of prestigious shows and movies will be undergoing a major makeover over the next months and year.  The new owners of the service has announced last week that the streaming services content will slowly be moving over to its other streaming service Discovery +.  The major work for the merger will begin in the summer of 2023, when its parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, ramps up the process.  The process will involve corporate cousin Discovery+,  the home of reality TV from the likes of Food Network, HGTV, Magnolia Network, TLC, and Discovery Channel. This will create one big streaming service under the corporate umbrella of Warner Bros. Discovery.
