Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader: Stalker used Apple AirTag to track me

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader claimed that an AirTag was used to track her location without her knowledge on Wednesday night in New York City.

“I went to a restaurant, a popular spot in TriBeCa, a very upscale, safe neighborhood,” she told us. “I go there all the time… I was at the bar waiting for some friends. It was early, like 45 minutes to an hour early. So I thought, I’ll have a little bite to eat while I wait for them. It’s winter so it’s freezing. I had my big winter coat with me and laid it on the bar stool. I did go to the bathroom once and I always take my purse with me. I didn’t take my coat because I assumed no one was going to steal it and I didn’t have anything inside of it.”

According to Nader, her friends arrived and the group enjoyed some food before visiting another nearby spot where they met up with other friends. Afterward, Nader decided to walk home alone.

About halfway home, Nader claimed she received a notification from her Find My iPhone app that was marked time-sensitive.

“It said, ‘Unknown Accessory Detected,’” she recalled. “’This item has been moving for you for a while. The other can see your location.’ I’m just honestly grateful that I got that notification from Apple. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known.”

Music CD Sales Increased in 2021 – The first time in 17 years

Sales of music CDs increased from 40.16 million units in 2020 to 40.59 million in 2021, according to a yearly report from music data compiler MRC Data and Billboard, marking the first time CD sales have increased year-over-year since 2004.

CDs weren’t the only old-fashioned music format that saw gains in 2021 — vinyl album sales volume increased a massive 50.4% year-over-year. Also in 2021, vinyl sales saw their single-largest sales week since 1991, when 2.11 million vinyl albums were sold the week of Dec. 23.

Boosts in physical music sales in a streaming-dominated music ecosystem can likely be attributed to a few big album releases, particularly by female artists. Adele, Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo all sold heavy volume of physical CDs in 2021 as each artist released albums last year.

Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso Season 3 could be its last

“Ted Lasso,” the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ comedy series might be gearing up to bow out on a high. That’s right, season 3 could be the last for “Ted Lasso.”

Sadly, it seems that Ted Lasso season 3 will be the final entry in the series. Well, potentially the last part of the mainline TV show’s three-season arc anyway…

And who could blame the cast and crew if they did. Ted Lasso has been a roaring success for everyone involved and, given how brilliant it is, it might be best for the TV series to end after season 3 so it doesn’t outstay its welcome.

So what do we know about the third season of Ted Lasso so far? Well, according to a couple of its main cast members, season 3 is slated to start filming very soon… Speaking to Deadline, however, co-creator Bill Lawrence revealed that he’d like Ted Lasso season 3 to stick to the show’s annual summer release. Providing that there are no issues with filming or post-production, season 3 could debut in late summer 2022…

Lawrence has also confirmed that James Lance’s Trent Crimm and Sarah Niles’ sports psychologist Sharon will feature in season 3. Speaking to Deadline, Lawrence teased: “I can tell you both of them have significant roles next year.”

According to sports publication The Athletic, Apple has agreed a £500,000 (around $682,000) deal with English top flight executives to use of kits, club badges and even the Premier League trophy in season 3.
