How to use the Voice Memo app in iOS
If you're like me, you use any means to remember something. Sure, there is the Notes app, but that entails opening the app, pressing the "+" button, and then using the on-screen keyboard to jot down the note. With Voice Memo, you can speak what you're thinking or want to remember.
Here's how to use Voice Memo on iOS:
- Ask Siri "Open Voice Memo".
- If this is the first time you're using the app, you'll be presented a blank screen with the title "All Recordings."
- To record a memo, tap the RED circle button.
- Record your memo.
- When finished, tap the red square.
- Now that a voice memo is recorded, it'll show up on the screen in step 2.
- The icons with the recorded memo should be self explanatory.
To delete a memo:
- Find the memo you wish to delete.
- Swipe LEFT until you see the Garbage Can.
- Tap it.
- That's it.
