FaceBook Suspends President Trump’s Account “Indefinitely”

In a statement, Mark Zuckerberg said that the social media platform FaceBook has announced that it has suspended President Trump's account "indefinitely" and for at least two weeks, after Election Day.  The platform has taken this step after the events which unfolded at Wednesday'sIn a  demonstration in Washington, DC where supporters stormed the U.S. Capital to protest the results of last November's election.

Zuckerberg's statement:

"We believe the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great," Zuckerberg said in a statement Thursday. "Therefore, we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete."

Twitter suspends President Trump’s Twitter Account for 12 Hours

After a day of protests and Trump supporters storming the U.S. Capital, Twitter has added its own drama to the mix after suspending President Trump’s account for 12 hours after some “troubling Tweets” and the company is demanding that the President “delete at least two of his Tweets” before the account goes live again.
