Security researchers at Corellium port a Linux Distro over to a M1 Mac

Security researchers at Corellium has taken upon itself to port a Linux Distro over to take full advantage of Apple's M1 chipset.

The Linux version is a full Ubuntu desktop operating system booted from a USB, according to Corellium Chief Technology Officer Chris Wade. Although details are scarce, he said that Linux is now "completely usable" on Apple Silicon machines.

Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso Nominated for Three Critics Choice Awards

The Apple TV+ show "Ted Lasso" has been nominated for three Critics Choice Awards including best comedy series, best actor in a comedy series, and best supporting actress in a comedy series (via Deadline).

For those who don't know what the show is about, "Ted Lasso" follows an American college football coach as he is recruited to save a beleaguered English Premier League soccer team, despite having no experience in association football.

The show is currently filming another season and should be available on the streaming service soon.

Apple and Tim Cook Commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Website

On Monday, January 18th, 2021, commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  Apple and Tim Cook commemorate this day with an entire dedication to the man on the main page of the company's web site.

Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968.
