Apple giving credit refunds to Apple TV+ Subscribers through June, 2021

Apple has sent emails to subscribers that they will be receiving a extension of their credit towards their subscription of the Apple TV+ service until June, 2021.

The below is a copy of the actual e-mail:

You’re getting $4.99/month in credit from Apple TV+ through June.

We’re applying $4.99 in credit to your Apple ID each month you’re subscribed from February through June to keep enjoying Apple Original shows and movies. That’s it — no further action is required.

How to change your iCloud password on all devices

If you use iCloud, then you know how important it is to keep your information safe from hackers and just morons with nothing better to do than try and break into someone else's account.

Apple makes it easy to do this via the web.  Here's how.

  1. Go to http://appleid.apple.com/
  2. Login with your iCloud ID and password.
  3. Scroll down until you see the Password option.
  4. Click on it to change your password.
  5. The web site will ask you a series of questions to ensure it is YOU changing the password.
  6. That's it.

Changing your password every 6 months or earlier is a very good way to make sure nobody other than you has access to your stuff.

How to enable / disable 5G on iPhone 12

If you're lucky enough to get an iPhone 12, then you know its very convenient to have access to a 5G network.  But sometimes, you may wish to disable this feature for one reason or another.  Fortunately, Apple makes it simple, and here's how.

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options.
  2. Select Voice & Data.
  3. In this section is where you can change the option.
  4. That's it.
