How to make sure you’re getting 5G with the iPhone 13

First things first, you must make sure that your cell phone provider offers 5G access or this tip won't work.

You just got that shiny new iPhone 13 (or 12) and you want to make sure you always get 5G where ever you go.  Just do the following:

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options.
  2. Make sure that you have the 5G Auto option selected at the Voice & Data choice, or to make sure you have 5G On all the time, select the 5G On option.
  3. Go back to the previous page.
  4. That's it.
