Rumor: Leaker – Apple Airtag will be the size of a half-dollar, cost around $39.00

The size of Apple’s widely-expected AirTags item trackers will be slightly larger than a U.S. half dollar coin and three times the thickness, leaker Max Weinbach says on his YouTube channel EverythingApplePro.

According to Weinbach, the ‌AirTags‌ will come in one size measuring 32mm x 32mm x 6mm, which would put the circular devices in the same ballpark diameter-wise as a half dollar piece.

Based on images found within an internal build of iOS 13, ‌‌AirTags‌‌ are small, circular white tags with an Apple logo on the front. They will likely be attached to items via adhesive or an attachment point like a ring, and there may be multiple ways to use them with different items.

According to his retail sources, Weinbach says ‌AirTags‌ are estimated to be priced at around $39 each… When they’ll be launched though remains the question.

How to avoid the coming Disney+ Price Hike

Disney is raising its monthly price for their Disney+ streaming service from $6.99/mo. to $7.99/mo. on March 26th, however subscribers can act now to lock in the $6.99/mo. price for a full year.

A Disney+ subscription offers:

• Movies, shows, shorts, and originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more
• Exclusive originals with new feature films, shows, short-form content, and documentaries
• The world’s first live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian
• Access to thousands of the Disney movies and shows
• Ad-free
• Personalized recommendations
• High-quality viewing experience
• Unlimited downloads on up to 10 devices

If you purchase an annual subscription on March 25, you’ll lock in the lower price. On March 25, the year-long subscription costs $69.99 — and will go up overnight to $79.99 to reflect the price change.

Existing customers can change from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription via their account settings page.

Those who get Disney+ via a bundle with Hulu and ESPN+ will see the $1 price increase as well. Since there isn’t an annual subscription for this bundle, customers will not be able to take advantage of pre-paying.

Rumor: Apple considering new Apple Watch for Extreme Athletes

Apple is considering launching an Apple Watch with a rugged casing aimed at extreme sports athletes, hikers, and others who use the device in more extreme environments, Bloomberg News reports citing “people familiar with the matter.”

The current version is still popular with runners, hikers, and swimmers, and Apple has added several sports and activity-tracking features via its annual update cycle. However, Casio Computer Co. and other watchmakers have seen strong sales from sturdier product designs with extra protection…

The rugged version would be an additional model similar to how Apple offers… special editions co-branded with Nike Inc. and Hermes International. Sometimes dubbed the “Explorer Edition” inside Apple, the product would have the same functionality as a standard Apple Watch but with extra impact-resistance and protection in the vein of Casio’s G-Shock watches.

The latest Apple Watch models are already water-resistant to 50 meters — at the high end for most smartwatches. But Apple could make a new device more “rugged” by giving it a rubberized exterior that would be useful for environments where the current aluminum, titanium and stainless steel cases might be prone to damage.
