  • Enable the watch.
  • Tap SettingsClock.
  • Enable the Speak Time option.
  • Go back to the watch face.

Apple launches ‘Apple Music TV’

Apple has launched Apple Music TV, a free 24-hour curated livestream of popular music videos that will also include “exclusive new music videos and premiers, special curated music video blocks, and live shows and events as well as chart countdowns and guests,” according to the announcement.

Apple Music TV will be available to U.S. residents only on the Apple Music app and the Apple TV app. It can be found at apple.co/AppleMusicTV and in the browse tab in the Apple Music and Apple TV app.

The service premiered Monday morning (Oct. 19) with a countdown of the top 100 all-time most-streamed songs in the U.S. on Apple Music.

The move is the long-anticipated culmination of years of speculation and talk about when and how the company would move into the music video space, which has long been dominated by YouTube, Vevo and, in the past, MTV.

How to enable “Raise To Speak” on an Apple Watch

There are so many useful features on an Apple Watch, that there wouldn't be enough room in one article to list all of them.  So let's take a look at an unique one - Raise to Speak.

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="512"] Raise to Speak feature on an Apple Watch[/caption]

Raise to Speak enables someone to raise the watch to their mouth so they can automatically speak to Siri.  This can be useful if one is driving, joggling, doing chores, etc.  You'll need to enable the Rise to Speak feature.

Here's how to enable it:

  • Tap on your watch to "wake it up."
  • Go to the Home Screen.
  • Tap Settings and then Siri and make sure that the Raise to Speak option is enabled.
  • Now give it a try!

Raise your wrist.  Siri should come on as normal and is ready for a command.

BONUS TIP:

You could also enable the "Hey Siri" along with the above to enhance this feature.
