How to check what Apple Watch Model you have

While uncommon, it maybe necessary to know what Apple Watch model you currently have.  There are two ways to do this:

Apple Watch is Paired with an iPhone:

  1. Open the watch app on the iPhone.
  2. Tap "My Watch", and then tap the name of your watch.
  3. Tap "General" and then "About".  Scroll down to the Model Number.
  4. Compare the number to that listed on Apple's Support website.

Apple Watch is NOT Paired with an iPhone:

  1. Flip the watch over.
  2. The Model Number is engraved on the back of the watch.
  3. Compare the number to that listed on Apple's Support website.

That's it.

How to add AOL E-Mail (YES, AOL) to an iPhone or iPad

Although not as well-known as they once was, people are still using AOL (America Online) as an email service.  If you're one of them, and would like to use an iPad or iPhone for AOL Mail, read on.

Here's how:

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Choose Password & Settings from the left menu.
  3. Find and then choose Add Accounts.
  4. Choose AOL as the account type.
  5. When prompted, enter in your AOL username and password.
  6. Choose what service(s) you wish to enable with AOL.
  7. After that, you're done!

Yes, it's that simple.

How to enable Dark Mode on FaceBook (yes, FaceBook!) with Google Chrome for Mac

We Mac users have gotten used to using Dark Mode on our Desktop, Twitter, and some web sites.  But what if you could use it on one of the world's popular social media platform, FaceBook in Google Chrome?

Here's how with Google Chrome:

  1. Where you normally type in a website URL, type:  chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark
  2. Choose to enable Dark Mode here with the dropdown option
  3. That's it.

Now go to FaceBook as normal.

BUT, there is a con to this tip, when ever another web site supports Dark Mode, that site will automatically be in that Mode.
