According to several sources, persons in the United States that shipped their gifts via the United States Parcel Service (USPS) maybe getting calls or letters from family or friends wondering why they didn't ship anything to them this year.
Because of the worldwide Pandemic and other factors, mail times for the organization have fallen behind as much as 30% and may fall even further by this time next week, according to a reliable source who asked not to be named.
Some persons, who rely on USPS for medications, are also affected. Â Some are even not taking the meds for fear that they'd go without. Â One such person, named Kelly L., is waiting for a necessary med that helps her with digestion problems. Â She now has to go without until she gets the package. Â Which (as of this writing) is unknown when she'll get it.
When contacted for comment, a spokesperson for USPS said "We are aware of delays and are working hard to eliminate them in time for the Holidays. Â Please be patient with us."
