Keyboard Shortcuts could be coming to iPadOS

Reports say that Apple is currently working on adding keyboard shortcuts to iPadOS.

Currently, a user has to use Control Center or go into the Settings app to adjust common functions such as brightness, adjust keyboard settings, and others.

If true, the addition would come via a software update first with a possible introduction of a new keyboard with function keys.

The addition of this would be a welcome addition for those of us who use iPads on a daily basis.

Apple enforces new COVID-19 safety protocols as employees come back to work

Apple is gearing up to take the necessary protocols to keep its employees safe as they slowly return to work at Apple’s main headquarters at Apple Park.

Citing people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reports employees will face a number of workplace changes when they arrive at Apple's headquarters.

All employees are required to ware masks and face temperature checks upon arrival.  This policy is mirroring those set forth at all opened Apple Stores around the world.

Once inside, employees movements will be limited, and certain break rooms and on-site restaurants will be closed to limit the spread of the virus.

Only necessary employees will be permitted on the grounds, with others working remotely until further notice.

Analyst: Apple TV+ can hit 100 Million paid subscribers by 2025

In a research note Thursday, J.P. Morgan analyst Samik Chatterjee does a deep dive on the prospects for Apple TV+…

Chatterjee says Apple was originally expected to spend $1 billion on new programming, but there are reports that its annual budget could go as high as $6 billion as the company attempts to compete with Disney, Netflix and Amazon, as well as new services like Comcast’s Peacock and AT&T’s HBO Max. Recent news reports say the company has adjusted its strategy and started shopping for library film and television content for the service as a way to offer more options to viewers.

The bottom line is, Chatterjee still thinks the company can reach 100 million paid subscribers to its video streaming service by fiscal 2025.
