Apple Music launches on 2018 and later Samsung Smart TVs

Because of a recent partnership between Apple and Samsung, both companies are launching an Apple Music app that will be on 2018 Samsung Smart TVs starting today.

The app can be downloaded via the Samsung TV App Store, and allows a user to sign-in to the app and gain access to their online music library.

This is the first time that Apple Music has expanded directly to Smart TVs, and the app looks and behaves like the Apple TV app for Apple Music.

Major update to Pixelmator for iOS released

Pixelmator for iOS just received a major update! In Pixelmator 2.5, there’s a brand new, Files-based document browser, a new photo browser that makes it easier to browse and open images from your Photos library, and new image size presets along with a new browser.

And the headline feature is the awesome Files-based document browser, bringing a much-improved file browsing and opening experience along with great features like file search, tagging, and more.

Orders for Apple’s new 4.7-inch iPhone SE better than expected

Kuo argues that the strong reception for the iPhone SE suggests consumers are gravitating to lower-priced phones, which has implications for Apple’s business and the companies that supply it with parts.

“The most difficult challenge from COVID-19 for smartphone brands is the negative impact on consumer confidence or purchasing power after the pandemic outbreak, resulting in consumers preferring to choose lower price/spec models or to stop purchasing smartphones,” Kuo wrote.

Kuo argues investors in Apple and its supply chain should focus more on the effects COVID-19 is having on consumer demand, not Apple’s ability to launch new products.
