2019 Cyber Monday sales break records

Cyber Monday is the final day of the Thanksgiving shopping extravaganza and this year, shoppers racked up a whopping $9.2 billion in online sales.

According to figures from Adobe Analytics, people were spending $11 million a minute. Samsung TVs, Apple’s AirPods, Air Fryers, and Frozen 2 toys were some of the top items sold.

Consumers were also buying up smartphones on Monday, with sales breaking the $3 billion mark; smartphone purchases also accounted for one-third of all sales.

Two Men Behind Bars after Owner of a Stolen Apple Watch Pings it

Two men are behind bars in California after police found them with a stolen Apple Watch that had been pinged by its owner, according to the Roseville Police Department.

Officials said investigators tracked down the location of an Apple Watch stolen in Roseville Wednesday to a parking lot on Auburn Boulevard near Whyte Avenue.

In the parking lot was a motorhome with 21-year-old Elijah Filson and 38-year-old Jacob Cummins inside, both of whom were on probation, investigators said.

While police were searching the motorhome, the owner of the Apple Watch pinged it, causing it to emit a sound.

Apple granted Patient for Next Generation Magic Mouse

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of X newly granted patents for Apple Inc. today. In this particular report we cover Apple’s invention for a possible new domed orientationless and/or ambidextrous input assembly for controlling a Mac. It may the next-gen Magic Mouse or perhaps the Magic Mouse Pro, which is a trend with Apple.

The next generation Magic Mouse could advance to accept input such as slide gestures, rotation, squeeze, press, touch, or otherwise physically manipulate the input assembly in any suitable manner relative to the electronic controlling electronic devices like the iMac.

Apple reveals best apps and games for 2019

Apple on Tuesday unveiled the top apps of 2019, following its usual annual format of arranging selections by category. In addition to the typical end of year press release, the company also celebrated its picks with developers at a special event in New York.
