Disney+ Surpasses 10M Subscribers in first 24 Hours of Existence

Web site The Verge is reporting that Disney+ has reported that the online service has passed the 10 Million Milestone within the first 24 hours of it being online.

Disney+ surpassed 10 million subscribers in its first day, the company announced today.

Disney’s announcement comes after Apptopia announced that the Disney+ has been downloaded more than 3.2 million times. That’s despite tech problems that affected the country throughout the day.

Disney also confirmed that “there are no plans to release Disney+ subscriber data outside of The Walt Disney Company’s quarterly earnings calls.” The next time we’ll hear about subscriber numbers will be in 2020.

How to share an Apple TV+ Subscription with your Family

With all the talk about Disney+ over the last 24 hours, we can't forget that for those of us who have Apple TV+ we have an added benefit - We can share the subscription with our family.

Here's how:

Before you begin, make sure Family Sharing is setup. To learn how, click here.
When that's done, go on the iOS device and go to Settings > [Tap your name] > Family Sharing.
While in the Family Sharing page, scroll down until you see the "TV Channels" option.
On the next screen, select Apple TV from the list.
That's it.

Now you can share Apple TV+ content with your family.
