Amazon Music now available on Apple TV
On Thursday, Amazon announced that its Amazon Music Service is now available on the Apple TV.
“We believe that listeners should be able to stream music simply and easily on any device they choose,” said Karolina Joynathsing, director of business development for Amazon Music. “With that in mind, our aim has been to bring listeners more ways to enjoy their favorite music. We’re thrilled to bring the Amazon Music app to Apple TV customers across the globe.”
The app is available in the Apple TV App Store.
YouTube TV is now the most popular Live Streaming Service on Fire TV
It has only been a few weeks since YouTube TV came to the Fire TV. Now though it has skyrocketed to be the most popular live TV streaming service on the Fire TV according to Amazon’s list of top Fire TV apps.
YouTube TV is now the 6th most popular Fire TV app right now with YouTube being the most popular. PlayStation Vue is the second most popular live TV streaming service followed by Sling TV and AT&T TV NOW.
It will be interesting to see if YouTube TV can maintain its spot at the top of this list. Often when new apps are added to the Fire TV they jump up high in the list only to drop down later. But jumping up to #6 over all and the top live TV streaming service is a larger than normal jump for a new app.
It is interesting to see PlayStation Vue as the second most popular live TV streaming service. This likely has a lot to do with Sony and Amazon’s partnership to integrate PlayStation Vue into the Fire TV channel guide could have helped pushed it to the top of the Fire TV app list.

Early Wednesday, Apple started selling Microsoft's Xbox One Controller for use with its Apple TV streaming device. But for $59.95, you can get the same controller for a more affordable price from major retailers such as Amazon.com and others.
You can use the Xbox One Controller for Apple TV games and for Apple Arcade.
