U.S. House investigators say they have begun receiving data from Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, and Facebook

The leaders of the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee said late on Tuesday that they had begun receiving data from Facebook, Alphabet’s Google, Amazon and Apple as part of their probe into the companies’ potential breaches of antitrust law.

The probe is one of several at the federal, state and congressional level aimed at determining if the companies use their considerable clout in the online market illegally to hurt rivals or otherwise break competition law.

The statement was from Representatives Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the Judiciary Committee; Doug Collins, the top Republican on the committee; David Cicilline, chair of the antitrust subcommittee and Jim Sensenbrenner, the top Republican on the antitrust subcommittee.

United Kingdom Broadcaster Picks up Star Trek: Discovery in “Linear TV Deal”

For those in the UK who have been waiting to see the award-winning Star Trek: Discovery but have been hesitant to pay for Netflix has been given a lifeline and in 2020 will be able to watch on the UK TV channel E4.

Today CBS announced it has signed a deal with UK broadcaster Channel 4 (MIPCOM) to air reruns of the hit show starting with season one.

Along with Discovery, Channel 4 has also signed a deal to broadcast Matt Leblanc’s new comedy “Man With a Plan“

Disney+ Confirms Gargoyles for Streaming Service

It's official: Gargoyles is confirmed for Disney's upcoming streaming service.

On Twitter, Disney+ unveiled a long list of shows and movies that will be available to stream when the service debuts next month. In addition to several Marvel properties, like X-Men: The Animated Series, Gargoyles was confirmed to appear with a Tweet featuring the series title, release date and logo.
