Teen mortified when mum finds X-Rated search history on iPad

A teenager was busted after he watched porn on his mum’s iPad.

Liam, 19, revealed he was mortified when the tablet revealed his search history.

The Edinburgh-based lad has since taken to Twitter to reveal his horror.

His tweet has since gone viral, with many laughing at the “rookie” mistake.

Liam’s peeved mum sent him a text after uncovering his X-rated search habits.

She wrote: “Liam, I don’t really know how to say this so I’ll just say it.

“You CANNOT watch porn on my work iPad.

“I could get sacked for this!”

As embarrassed as the teen must have been, he couldn’t resist laughing about the toe-curling message.

New Sesame Street-themed PSA encourages kids to reduce mobile phone usage

Yes, we’ve all been there.  Playing a game, texting a friend, or waiting for that one email.

‘Mobile phone usage among tweens and teens has skyrocketed over the past few years because of some of the events that I just outlined.

The problem has gotten the attention of the people behind Sesame Street.

A new PSA from Sesame Workshop and advocacy organization Common Sense aims to address kids’ unhealthy use of mobile devices by focusing on one particular problem: devices at the dinner table.

This is not the first time the #DeviceFreeDinner campaign has run — previous years’ spots featured Will Ferrell as a “distracted dad” on his phone at the table, ignoring his family’s conversations.

But this time around, the organization is teaming up with Sesame Workshop, which is lending its characters to a new PSA. The spot will feature the “Sesame Street” muppets modeling healthy mobile phone behavior by putting their devices away.

Phones are shut up in drawers, tablets placed on shelves, other devices are put in handbags — and, you know, thrown into garbage cans and stashed in pumpkins, as the case may be.

The muppets then gather around a table and happily chatter until they notice Cookie Monster is still on his phone, texting. (Don’t worry, their disapproval sees him eating the device in the end.)

So if you need help in convincing your child or children to put Dow that cell phone at the dinner table, this may help.

Animated Teen Star Trek Series a Go at Nickelodeon

According to the Star Trek web site TrekCore, the network that gave birth to shows like DoubeDare and The Curse of the Hidden Temple have giving the green light for a Star Trek animated series geared to teens.

CBS has made it official early Wednesday.

Headed from writers Kevin and Dan Hageman, this untitled “CG-animated” show may not have a name, but it does have a premise: “The show follows a group of lawless teens who discover a derelict Starfleet ship and use it to search for adventure, meaning and salvation.”

Here’s the full press release:

A new, original CG-animated Star Trek series that follows a group of lawless teens who discover a derelict Starfleet ship and use it to search for adventure, meaning and salvation is in the works from Nickelodeon and CBS Television Studios. The show, to be developed by Emmy Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (Trollhunters, The LEGO Movie), and overseen by Ramsey Naito, EVP, Animation Production and Development, Nickelodeon, will debut exclusively on Nickelodeon. The show will be the second upcoming animated Star Trek series, joining Star Trek: Lower Decks, which will stream on CBS All Access.

‘Star Trek,’ Nickelodeon, and the state of animation are doing incredibly ambitious things as of late. We couldn’t be more excited to jump aboard,” said Dan and Kevin Hageman.

The untitled Trek adventure show will be created under the auspices of CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, CBS Television Studios’ new animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Trek veterans Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth, along with animation producer Katie Krentz, will serve as executive producers together with Kevin and Dan Hageman. Aaron Baiers will serve as a co-executive producer.

Star Trek’s mission is to inspire generations of dreamers to build a brighter future,” Kurtzman said. “Dan and Kevin have crafted a story that honors its exploratory spirit in a way that’s never been done before, while the Nickelodeon team blew us away with their excitement at bringing Trek to a younger generation around the world.”

No word on a premier date.
