Apple Releases 2nd Public Beta of iOS 12
Apple has released a second public beta of iOS 12.
Users (who have Beta 1) need to go to Settings > General > Update Software to obtain it.

Facial ID code showing up in iOS 12, Hinting at New iPads in Fall
A couple of developers have let us know that it seems that Apple is planning to add Facial ID to newer iPads, which may be announced later this year or early next.
One such developer by the name of Steven Troughton-Smith shared new evidence via Twitter some evidence in iOS 12 that Apple is close to launching an iPad with Face ID.
The well-known developer discovered an iPad-ready implementation of AvatarKit, the software framework that Apple's Animoji feature relies on.
Previously, only the iPhone X had the AvatarKit.
Apple (quietly) adds a new web page for information about its Maps app
By accident, I found a new web page on apple.com that has information about the current and upcoming Maps app for iOS.

Last week, we reported that we would not be reporting on the upcoming iOS 12 and others due out this Fall.
