Early Tuesday, Amazon.com has added the newest version of Apple TV to its product lineup.
The device had been absent from the giant online store for the last four years.

Just a week after its official release, Apple has pushed out an update for its iOS operating system, and the company is asking all users to update to it as soon as they can.
Release notes accompanying iOS 11.0.1 simply state that the update "includes bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone or iPad."
The update is available now.
“I was very interested in getting the new Apple TV 4K,” Kirk McElhearn writes for Kirkville. “I wanted to be able to view 4K movies on my 4K TV.”
“I can already do this to some extent with Amazon Prime Video, and the quality is impressive,” McElhearn writes. “However, Apple has published a support document that explains the requirements for accessing 4K content.”
“You’ll need a 25 Mbps connection to get 4K content,” McElhearn writes. “Otherwise you’ll just get HD or SD.”

(TrekNews.Net): The overnight numbers are in and Star Trek: Discovery‘s series premiere “The Vulcan Hello” drew approximately 9.6 million views, making it one of the most-viewed programs on Sunday night.
How Discovery stacks up against other Star Trek premieres:
The 2001 premiere of Star Trek: Enterprise “Broken Bow” saw 12.5 million views, while the first episode of Star Trek: Voyager “Caretaker” on UPN had 21.3 million, and Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s “Encounter at Farpoint” had 15.7 million views.
It should be noted that while Discovery may not had reached the pinnacles of its predecessors, the television landscape has changed dramatically in recent years.
Following the premiere on CBS, the series’ second episode “Battle at Binary Stars” was made available on CBS All Access. Additionally, all future episodes will be released on over-the-top streaming service in the United States on Sundays. The first half of the season will run through November 5, with the series returning in January 2018.
CBS issued a press release on Sunday night noting that Star Trek: Discovery was responsible for the largest single-day sign-ups in the history of CBS All Access, since the service was launched in 2014.
