Analysts expect to give cautious guidance on Apple after August 1st
“Wall Street expects Apple to post modest revenue and earnings growth in the June quarter, despite worries about slowing iPhone sales ahead of the launch of the company’s 11th-generation model,” Patrick Seitz reports for Investor’s Business Daily.
“Analysts say Apple is likely to give conservative guidance for the September quarter, given uncertainties around the launch date and initial supply of the rumored iPhone 8 and other new handsets,” Seitz reports. “Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple is scheduled to deliver its fiscal third-quarter results and give fiscal fourth-quarter guidance after the market close on Aug. 1.”
“Wall Street is modeling for Apple to earn $1.57 a share, up 11% year over year, on sales of $44.92 billion, up 6%, in the June quarter,” Seitz reports. “For the current quarter, analysts are looking for Apple to earn $1.85 a share, up 11%, on sales of $49.94 billion, up 7%.”

How to use the iOS Health App on an iPhone and Apple Watch to maybe save your life one day
We all know that the health app on an iOS device and the Apple Watch are helpful tools for monitoring everyday health-related activities. But did you know that it could save your life one day, especially when used in conjunction with An Apple Watch.
When going into the app, there is an icon on the lower-right called Medical ID. Tapping on this icon takes you to a medical ID card. This is where you can put all of your medical-related information so it's always with you.
Information such as:
- Person's name.
- Medical Conditions
- Medical Notes.
- Allergies and Reactions to meds.
- List of current medications.
- Weight.
- Height.
- Emergency Contacts.
- Organ Donor
Once you fill this out, the information is then transferred to an Apple Watch. To get to the Medical ID information on the watch:
- Hold down the side button for three (3) seconds.
- Three options will come up -> Power Off, Medical ID, and Emergency SOS.
- Select and then slide the Medical ID option.
If your iPhone is in range, it will show what ever information you inputted on an iPhone on the watch.
Apple adds Wave, and 9 other TV providers to single sign-in on iOS
Apple has quietly added a cable TV provider called Wave, and 9 others to the list that support single sign-in on its Apple TV device and other iOS devices.
The other providers are listed below:
- Comporium
- Fidelity Communications
- Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico
- MCTV
- Northland Communications
- Service Electric Cablevision
- Shentel
- Vast Broadband
- Vyve Broadband
The new cable companies should be available now.
