Star Wars: Be on the lookout for hidden Easter Eggs References in Rouge One

On December 16th, fans of the Star Wars universe will be treated to its first movie spin off of the actual franchise, Star Wars: Rouge One.

During a recent interview on The Star Wars Show, (on StarWars.com), director Gareth Edwards revealed there’s a wink to two of his previous projects hidden in a scene inside the cave home of Rebel fighter Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker).

“There’s some Easter eggs. In Saw’s cave, there are some cave paintings. One of them is of the creatures that were in my first film, called Monsters, and then there’s a Godzilla. I didn’t ask for it, I just came in one day and saw it.”

Apple working on stopping iCal Spam Invites

While not new for Mac people that use the invite feature in iCal (Apple's Calendar app) users have seen a serious increase in Spam related invites over the past few weeks.

In a statement given to iMore's Rene Ritchie, an Apple spokesperson said the company working to block spam invites.

We are sorry that some of our users are receiving spam calendar invitations. We are actively working to address this issue by identifying and blocking suspicious senders and spam in the invites being sent.

However, you can create a new Calendar, name it Spam, move the spam invitation to the Spam calendar, and then delete the Calendar entirely. This method does not inform spammers that an event has been declined and does not verify an iCloud account's validity. HSBC expands Apple Pay to Singapore, offering incentives to users

HSBC has expanded Apple Pay into the country of Singapore. Users can begin using the pay service immediately.

As part of the launch promotion for the service, customers who link their HSBC creditcards to Apple Pay will get $5 off every transaction of $10 or more they make with the mobile payment service until Jan. 15, 2017. Each customer is limited to four discounted transactions.

HSBC joins American Express, DBS Bank, POSB Bank, OCBC, Standard Chartered and UOB, who have all previously launched support for the service in Singapore.

Earlier Thursday, Apple launched Apple Pay in Spain, with support for Mastercard and American Express credit cards issued through Santander bank, Carrefour Pass and Ticket Restaurant.

Apple Pay launched in the U.S. in 2014 and has since expanded to cover users in Australia, Canada, China, France, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland and the U.K. Germany is rumored to be next on Apple's list.

When Apple debuted its payments product in Japan, it suffered from a system overload from demand less than one day after launch.

For now, Apple is concentrating efforts to expand into major markets in Asia and Europe. Ultimately, the company plans to deliver Apple Pay to every market in which its products are sold.

Apple Pay launches in Spain
