Here's how to enable it:

Things you can do with the Magnifier:

  • Snap a photo.
  • Zoom-in.
  • Look focus.
  • Use the flash as a light.
  • Adjust the color of the screen.
  • Invert the view (doing so will show a different user's interface (UI)).

This feature is for those with visual impairments or need something extra to see fine print.

Apple Swings the Electronic Ax on Zombie or outdated apps in iOS App Store

Apple has begun to swing the electronic Ax on iOS Apps that appear to be "zombie" apps (or apps that have not been updated for a significant amount of time).

The app(s) will be taken out of the app store until the offending app is either updated or deleted by the developer.  Any current customers who are using the app will not be effected and can continue using the app as normal.

Below is a copy of the email that developers got noticing them of the change:

Samsung delays relaunch of Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea

samsunglogoDue to the ongoing problems with its Galaxy Note 7, Samsung has announced that it is delaying the device's relaunch in South Korea.  The company has pushed the relaunch to this Saturday, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday.

For those who need a replacement device, you better hurry.  This announcement will see replacement devices drop from 20,000 to 160 when the new device does become available - which will make it harder for persons to complete the current exchange program.

Included with the above statement, the company also said:

Samsung Electronics will do our utmost to promptly conclude the recall of the old units before resuming sales.

This delay is cutting into Samsung's wallet from the highly embarrassing hardware problems and recall costs.

By last Saturday, only half of its customers had exchanged the device which made the company put out a statement that customers should power down the device until they can exchange it to prevent anymore fires.

The company declined to comment on why the process was taking longer in South Korea. On the first day of the exchange program, demand for the replacement devices in the capital, Seoul, had appeared to be thin. Only a handful of Note 7 owners visited one of the company's service centers in the city's business district.
