Twitter Wins Rights to Stream NFL Thursday Night Football
In a major push into the content business, Twitter has announced that it has won the right to stream 10 games of NFL Thursday Night Football starting this regular season.
The streams will be available during normal broadcasts from CBS, NBC, and the NFL Network. Â Twitter is believed to have outbid the likes of Facebook, Amazon, Verizon and Yahoo to win the NFL deal.
Barclays Adds Apple Pay Support
Nine months after Apple Pay's launch in the United Kingdom, another major UK bank, Barclays, finally added support for the pay service.
A number of iOS users work up and found the new service, with many reporting that it worked without delay.
The company was expected to be one of the first in the world to offer the service.
Apple Phasing out Plastic Bags for Paper starting April 15th
