Editor's Note: We haven't tried this, so please do not try this at home!

The writers of Law & Order: SVU must really like and use Apple products.  Because the popular show tipped its hat once again to the iPhone.  This time, one of the characters claimed that Siri helped a women call 9-1-1 after a home invasion incident, although the actual device was never seen.

iOS Developers having Problems Submitting and/or Updating Apps

XCodeLogoThere have been several reports that iOS developers have been having trouble with submitting new and/or updates to the iOS app store in recent weeks, according to several discussions on the Apple's developer's web site.

The problem seems to be with the current version of El Capitan and Apple's suite of developer's tools (XCode).  When a developer goes to upload a finished app to the app store, all seems fine, and then they get an error such as "do not submit apps with beta versions developer's tools" (or something like that).

Currently, we don't have any reports about if Mac apps are affected by this as well.

As of this writing, Apple has yet to acknowledge the problem, and come up with a work around for it.
