FYI to our readers . . . .
As we all know, from now until the 2016 election, political ads will be popping up on our TV screens for one candidate or another. Â The same may become true for the web as well.
During this time, you may see such ads popping up in the upper-right corner of our web site.  Because of this, we want to let our readers know that AppleScoop does not endorse any candidate nor any political party.  Those ads are being fed from a 3rd party web site that we do not have any control over.
We are and will continue to be an Apple News and rumors web site, period.
We will also wipe out any political statements or endorsing any person for U.S. president by any of our readers which may be said on our discussion boards.

Apple Calling for TVOS App Submissions Before New Apple TV Release Next Week
Preparing for next week's launch of an all-new Apple TV with dedicated App Store, Apple sent out emails to developers on Wednesday asking for tvOS app submissions tested on the latest golden master seed.
Registered developers are bring asked to do final testing on their Apple TV apps, so they can submit them to be available on the upcoming Apple TV app store.
Apple Releases Apple Watch update 2.0.1
Late Wednesday, Apple released an update for its Apple Watch. Â This update contains new emoji characters, performance improvements, and bug fixes, including:
- Fixes an issue that could cause software updates to stall
- Fixes issues that were impacting battery performance
- Resolves an issue that prevented a managed iPhone from syncing iOS Calendar events to Apple Watch
- Addresses an issue that could prevent location information from properly updating
- Fixes an issue that could cause Digital Touch to send from an email address instead of a phone number
- Addresses an issue that could cause instability when using a Live Photo as a watch face
- Resolves an issue that allows the sensors to stay on indefinitely when using Siri to measure heart rate.
