Our first hint is how to control your TV's volume with the new Apple TV remote. Â The setup is simple by following these steps:
-  Go to Settings > Remote and Devices > Volume Control > Learn New Device.
- Make sure you have your old remote handy for the next steps.
- Grab your old TV Remote and point it at the Apple TV Remote.
- When instructed, hold down the volume up and down buttons on the old remote.
- The Apple TV Remote will learn the above commands.
- Give your remote a NAME to help Apple TV know which remote to "look at".
- That's it!
