'6S Marketing' Ad Agency asks Apple to Reconsider Name for New iPhone

Even though the next iPhone name is only a rumor, marketing ad agency '6S Marketing' has asked Apple to reconsider naming the new iPhone after their company.

In an open letter on its web site, 6S Marketing said:

"See, our company name is 6S Marketing, but our clients, friends, and colleagues simply refer to us as good ol' "6S." It's a small name but a big part of our identity -- one we've been using since 2000, when we started this company in my tiny apartment. At that time, we didn't think that one of the biggest, and most well-respected, companies would use it to name a mobile device. (We were still using Motorola flip phones at the time, after all.)

The reason we chose the name "6S" is that it sound like "success" (get it?)."

However, there is talk that the company is taking advantage of this proposed name as a way for a publicity stunt, since the name has not been officially announced by Apple.

How to: Add a HOME Button to Safari

SafariIcon2015If you're like me, you like access to a starting point when surfing the web - incase you get lost on a web site.

Unfortunately, when users go into Safari, they don't see the HOME button by default.  One must add it to the top of the web browser.  It's easy to add it:

  1. Click View > Customize Toolbar.
  2. From the list of available options, find the HOME button.
  3. Click it, and drag it to where you'd like it on the Safari's toolbar.

Now suppose you don't like Safari's default home page option.  Here's how to change that:

  1. Click Safari > Preferences.
  2. Make sure the General icon is selected at the top-left of the window.
  3. In the Home Page field, type the URL of the page that you wish to have as your Home [start] page.
