Siri finally makes it out of "Beta" with iOS 7

iPhone users have a love-hate relationship with Siri. The assistant was supposed to enhance how one uses their iOS device. But, instead, it has gotten the brunt of user complaints, made fun of in YouTube videos, Microsoft Surface ads, and even in some trade magazines. All the while, Apple had that damn-ol' Beta tag hanging over it, stating that the little digital assistant wasn't good enough to drop that tag - until now.

It seems that Apple is finally dropping the Beta tag from its little digital assistant when iOS 7 hits the streets this week - or that is what they want you to think anyway. Now user can really complain when Siri misunderstands them, or misguides them into a tree when a user asks for directions.

I, for one, have a hate relationship with the little digital assistant, so I cannot wait to see how many other people learn to either love or hate Siri and starts to sue Apple for its reliability now its out of Beta.

China's iPhone 5S Stock Sells out almost instantly

Unlike the rest of the world, China and Hong Kong can reserve their iPhone 5S starting today.

Web site 9to5Mac.com is reporting that China's stock of Apple's new iPhone 5S almost sold out instantly, suggesting that stock for the rest of the world (including the U.S.) may be of limit supply at launch, also suggesting that anyone wanting one better get up early on Friday morning (12:01am Pacific, 3:01am Eastern) if they want to reserve one for launch day.

iOS App Store now offers "Last Compatible Version" of an app

Early Tuesday, Apple quietly updated its iOS app store to give it the ability for a user to download a previous version of an app that last worked on their device.

For example, if a user has an iPhone 4 with iOS 5 on it, and the developer once made an app for iOS 5, that version would be downloaded to the device. This would ensure that an end user would be able to use a previous version of his or her favorite app.
