Following Apple and Samsung, Microsoft to open mini-store at Best Buy
First it was Apple, then Samsung, and now Microsoft is getting on the "store within a store" band wagon by holding talks with Best Buy to try and open said service with them as well.
Both establishments announced the deal on Wednesday.
Microsoft will open mini-stores at 500 Best Buy locations within the U.S., with more planned afterwards. Â The stores will focus on Microsoft and Windows products and be manned by Best Buy employees. Â The employees will begin training soon, which Microsoft will provide to more than 1,200 associates.
No word on when these stores will begin appearing or at what locations.
