To help celebrate 50 Billion downloads from the iOS App Store, Apple has slightly modified the contest:
- The 50 Billionth downloader will receive a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card.
- The next 50 downloaders will receive a $500.00 iTunes Gift Card.
Apple is now promoting the contest on their front page.
If you have been following us on Twitter for sometime, you know that our feed would print out two of the same article.  We have (hopefully) fixed this so you should only get one headline from us from now on.
Heavy rains in New York proved a little too much for the famous Apple Cube at the Manhattan Flagship store on Wednesday. Â It seems that the storm system breeched seals that are supposed to keep the rain water out. Â It has been reported that several store employees had to use mops and buckets to contain the leaks.
No word on when it'll be fixed.
For the past few hours, we have been extremely busy with moving this web site over to a new, more reliable web host.
We'll have a few bumps here and there, but rest assured that we are working on them :)
